Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam has released the employment notification for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) under DSE, Assam. The recruitment of the PGT teachers will be in various Government and Provincialized Secondary Schools under the Secondary Education Department, Govt. of Assam.

Educational Qualification Needed for Assam PGT TET 2024
As notified by the DSE, Assam, the candidate must be a Post Graduate in the concerned subjects with at least 50% marks from the recognized university. Also, he/she should possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) qualification from an institution recognized by NCTE (National Council of Teacher Education).
It is important to note that degrees obtained in off-campus and distance education mode will not be considered valid for PGT TET 2024.
